Due to the current pandemic situation, the organization committee has decided to postpone the TRNSYS Experience Seminar beyond 2020.

TRNSYS Experience Seminar 2020

March 2020

Due to the corona virus, the 5th TRNSYS Experience Seminar originally scheduled for March 2020 in Kaiserslautern could not take place. A new date has not been set yet, but October 22./23. are possibilities. 

TRNSYS Experience Seminar is a technical seminar which aims to promote technical and relational exchanges between TRNSYS users at an international level. In addition, it is an opportunity to meet the Transsolar SoftwareEngineering team. Presentations will introduce research projects and real cases promoting dynamic thermal/energy simulation as a powerful and meaningful tool either for energy & buildings, or design & auditing. The seminar will be given in English. 

A new feature this year is a session on „Tips and Tricks for TRNSYS users“ (moderated by Marion Hiller (Transsolar) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Philippe André (University of Liège)). The second day of the event will be devoted to specific workshops on „Power To Heat“ and „Light and Solar Management“. The workshops go beyond the use of building simulation software and approaches of model-predictive control for room automation and heat pumps will be presented and demonstrated.
